Welcome! Don’t have a reservation? No problem. On Cocktails at Table 7: Inside New York’s Joe Allen, your table is always ready. In candid conversations with Broadway veterans, long-time regulars, even past and present employees, your hosts, Dana, Sean and Jason, recreate the intimate vibe that an evening at Joe’s has always offered. You’ll hear stories of the “Good Ol’ Days” in 1960’s Hell’s Kitchen, rarely told anecdotes from the shows on the “Flop Wall,” and the special connection between the restaurant and the people who make theater happen (Chita Rivera, F. Murray Abraham, and Daryl Roth, just to name a few.) You’ll feel like you’re tucked away at your favorite table or perched on a barstool sipping a martini, enjoying an insider’s night out. What began as an effort to preserve the connection to our beloved community has evolved into a joyful celebration of the memories and moments that have made Joe Allen one of Broadway’s most enduring hits. Cheers!Cocktails at Table 7- Inside New York’s Joe Allen is produced and hosted by Jason Woodruff, Dana Mierlak, and Sean Kent, with music by James Rubio and logo design/artwork by Christina D'Angelo. The producers would like to extend a special thank you to the owners of Joe Allen, Orso, and Bar Centrale Restaurants.

    Amazing History!
Such a great podcast! Loved hearing all the stories and the family/community that this place has provided. As a new Theatre lover, it’s great to just listen and embrace a new love. Keep it going!

    Memory lane😊
The Matthew Broderick interview was a lovely trip down memory lane. Max Dugan Returns lived in the recess of my mind and it was so nice to recall it. The hosts gave listeners a view of MB that they’d probably not seen before. Experiences with actors and directors who were larger than life but made very human. I really enjoyed the podcast.

    A podcast like no other.
In a world full of opinions, this is a conversation with some of the most accomplished theater people with nothing to promote. There is one single purpose; listening to some great anecdotes and sharing of their history. I love this podcast as much as I love this restaurant, and the wonderful people that make it a second home.

    A favorite!
I LOVE this podcast! The hosts are witty, funny and sincere. The guests are solid (Chita Rivera, F. Murray Abraham, Betty Buckley...just to make a few) with great stories to share about their careers and their love for one of New York’s most iconic restaurants in the theater district. I’m always looking forward to the next episode. Don’t stop!

    I’ve learned so much

    Pull up a stool!!
Every conversation makes me long for the return of Broadway and the pre/post dining rush! Total joy to hear the best theater actors of our time share themselves with these amazing hosts. The show makes me nostalgic for both my time as an actor and all the years I was consequently steeped in restaurant culture. You’ll never find better people than the ones who cook and serve your and meals or pour their hearts out 8 shows a week for your enjoyment.

    So far, sooooo engaging.
It may not be for everyone, but maybe that’s the point? One episode in and I’m looking forward to the next. Joe’s is an under-the-radar hang for broadway, and to get a glimpse inside is a treat.
